Christ on the Mic
Christ on the Mic is Valiant’s street evangelism initiative, where we boldly go wherever the Spirit of God leads, preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who need it most. At Valiant, we believe in preferring pavements over pulpits, stepping out into the streets to reach the lost, the overlooked, and the forgotten, those who God loves just as much as anyone in the church pews. Our mission is to meet people where they are, shining the light of Christ into every corner of the world, sharing hope and salvation with a bold, uncompromising love.

Valiant’s Christ on the Mic is a call to action, to go out and make disciples, reaching souls in places where the gospel is often neglected, sharing the love and message of Jesus with everyone we meet.

Evangelism Ambassador
Description:
As an Evangelism Ambassador, you’ll be on the front lines, boldly sharing the gospel with those we encounter on the streets. Your role will involve engaging with people, offering prayer, sharing testimonies, and delivering the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. If you're passionate about spreading God's word and connecting with others, this is the role for you!
Prayer Warrior
Description:
As a Prayer Warrior, your mission is to lift up the ministry in prayer, interceding for the volunteers, the people we encounter, and the work being done. You will play a critical role in creating a spiritual foundation for our outreach. Your prayers will help guide the team, soften hearts, and make the ground fertile for the gospel to take root.
Outreach Support
Description:
In the Outreach Support role, you’ll assist with logistical needs such as organizing materials, setting up sound equipment, distributing flyers, and ensuring the smooth operation of the event. Your behind-the-scenes work will ensure the street ministry runs effectively, helping the team focus on preaching and outreach. If you're great at problem-solving and working in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you.
Worship Leader
Description:
As a Worship Leader, you will help lead the group in praise and worship during street events. Music has a powerful way of drawing people in and preparing hearts for the gospel message. Whether you play an instrument or lead with vocals, your role will be to create a worshipful atmosphere that invites people to experience the presence of God.
Follow-Up Coordinator
Description:
The Follow-Up Coordinator will take responsibility for connecting with individuals who show interest in learning more about Jesus. After the event, you’ll reach out, offer additional resources, provide prayer, and help guide them in their spiritual journey. If you have a heart for discipleship and a passion for helping others grow in their faith, this role is for you.
Street Team Leader
Description:
As a Street Team Leader, you'll oversee the team of evangelists and ensure the group remains organized and focused during outreach efforts. You’ll help lead discussions, make sure that everyone is safe, and guide the group in sharing the gospel effectively. Strong leadership, communication, and a heart for outreach are key qualities for this role.
Testimony Giver
Description:
The Testimony Giver role involves sharing your personal journey of faith with those you meet on the streets. Your testimony can be a powerful tool to show others the love and transformative power of Christ. If you feel led to share your story and witness the impact of God’s work in your life, this is the role for you.
Logistics and Transportation
Description:
As a Logistics and Transportation volunteer, you will help transport the team, equipment, and materials to the designated outreach locations. You may also help coordinate travel arrangements and ensure the team has everything they need to be effective in their mission. If you enjoy organizing and have a reliable vehicle, this is a great role for you.
Merchandise Distributor
Description:
In the Merchandise Distributor role, you will help distribute tracts, gospel literature, or empowering Christian resources to those we encounter on the streets. This role is important for leaving people with lasting resources that point them toward faith in Christ. You'll be able to interact with people, offer prayer, and give them a tangible reminder of the gospel message.
